As per the current system settings, whenever employee is on LOP for whole month his earnings are zero but there are some deductions which are still taken off the pay and make the net as negative. These are balanced in next pay period along with that period's deductions.
Requirement is to ignore deduction when earnings are zero so that the net pay become zero.
I tried exploring all options but couldn't find an SAP standard solution for this issue and I feel the only way to achieve this is via a PCR. This PCR needs to be placed after 'Factoring' is done in schema to check for zero earnings and then clear deductions from IT table for further processing.
Please help to validate my understanding and suggest if there is a better solution available.
