Limiting table Insert/Update access via procedures only

I am trying to figure out how to craft end users roles so that they can insert/update into specific tables only via the procedures which are published and provided to them for that purpose. I do not want to provide a blanket insert/update access to the underlying tables directly.

This would essentially be the equivalent of what we are able to do via analytic privileges. With Analytic privileges, you can simply provide access to an information view, without having to provide direct access to any of the underlying tables or schemas.
