How to assign an asset to group asset ?

Greetings!

I have followed the below steps in creating the group asset and asset but encountered errors:

1.) IMG-> Financial Accounting -> Asset accounting -> Valution -> Group assets.

a.) Specified depreciation Area 01 for group assets.

b.) specified Asset class 1101 for group assets(checked the check box).

2.) Call Tcode AS21 and created group asset for the asset class 1101.

3.) Call Tcode AS01, But encountered error

Asset class 1101 allows only group assets. Please correct.

Message no. AY114

Diagnosis

The asset class 1101 should only be used for group assets. Therefore, it is not possible to create an asset in this class.

Procedure

When you create an asset, use an asset class that is not set aside for group assets.

Could you please suggest me on this?
